Effective onboarding with GenAI | Chat Bot

CHALLENGE:
One of our clients, the owner of a low-code platform for collaboration and remote work management, faced a lengthy and costly onboarding process for new employees, which took up to three months. The process was further complicated by declining motivation among new hires and communication barriers between them and their mentors, making it difficult to ask questions and efficiently integrate into the company.


IMPLEMENTED SOLUTIONS:
To address these challenges, we developed a chatbot to support onboarding, leveraging GenAI technology and AWS services. A crucial aspect was the client’s internal knowledge repositories, including videos, PDF documents, and mentor responses, which we transformed into an AI-powered knowledge base. AWS services enabled seamless data processing and integration with Slack, allowing the chatbot to automatically respond to mentees’ questions in real time.

ACHIEVED EFFECTS:
Integrating GenAI into the onboarding process eliminated communication barriers and significantly accelerated new employee adaptation. With chatbot assistance, the onboarding period was cut in half, and costs were substantially reduced. The solution’s flexibility also allows for its use in other areas, such as customer support and incident management. This modern approach demonstrates how leveraging GenAI simplifies complex processes.
