Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager

Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager is an AWS service that automates the lifecycle management of Amazon EBS snapshots and Amazon EBS-backed AMI images. It enables scheduling for regular snapshot creation and deletion, helping maintain compliance with security requirements and data retention policies.
The goal of the service is to simplify EBS backup management, reduce storage costs, and minimize human error risks through full process automation.
