Billing and Cost Management

AWS Billing and Cost Management is the AWS cloud billing system based on a pay-as-you-go model, allowing you to pay only for the resources you actually use, without fixed costs for unused compute capacity.

When resources are running in your account, you incur charges for their allocation, such as running Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS databases. In addition, usage-related costs are billed, such as data transfer, Amazon S3 storage, or read/write operations.

The AWS Billing and Cost Management service provides tools for monitoring costs, forecasting expenses, setting budgets, and generating detailed reports, making it easier to control spending and optimize costs in the AWS cloud.
