What is Amazon Bedrock? In short, it\u2019s an AWS service that enables organizations to build and deploy generative AI applications without the need to manage AI model infrastructure. Bedrock provides access to foundation models (FMs) from various providers and allows these models to be integrated with applications via API.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amazon Nova \u2013 What Models Are Available?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Amazon Nova includes five distinct models: three focused on content understanding and text generation, and two designed for creative content creation. These innovations are designed to achieve simple and widespread adoption across various projects and services, with support for over 200 languages.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cUnderstanding\u201d Models<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Amazon Nova offers three “understanding” models that excel in processing and generating text. <\/span>Amazon Nova Micro is optimized for simplicity and efficiency, this model only supports text input, making it perfect for use cases requiring minimal latency and very low operational costs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amazon Nova Lite<\/strong> can process more complex input types, including text, images, and even videos. It is distinguished by its flexibility and exceptionally high performance. <\/span><\/p>\n

Amazon Nova Pro<\/strong> is the most advanced model in the suite, a multimodal model carefully balanced to deliver high speed, accuracy, and relatively low costs. Its robust capabilities make it ideal for tasks like video content summarization, answering questions, mathematical analysis, software development, and creating advanced AI agents capable of managing complex processes.<\/span><\/p>\n
